It was a nice little stroll to go back to see Letah Wood near Hexham. A beautiful place that's like a cathedral.

Quick, quick, sloe
We'd spotted several people picking a dark blue-black berry from the hedges and they said they were sloes. Quick as a flash I zipped off my trouser legs, tied a knot in the bottom, and filled them with nature's bounty.<p>Once home we followed a recipe downloaded from the Internet (buy 2 litres of Gin, drink one...) and had a most happy xmas helped by homemade Sloe Gin.

We'd spotted several people picking a dark blue-black berry from the hedges and they said they were sloes. Quick as a flash I zipped off my trouser legs, tied a knot in the bottom, and filled them with nature's bounty.

Once home we followed a recipe downloaded from the Internet (buy 2 litres of Gin, drink one...) and had a most happy xmas helped by homemade Sloe Gin.
