This is the first time I've actually seen a path cut through a crop, strange since that is the law, but a lot of farmers seem to ignore it.
The Simonburn Tea-room/Post Office and B&B is the most gorgeous place. A delightful country garden with two pet Aylesbury ducks at the bottom of the garden, tame sparrows that ate Pips' scone, and this small eleven week old West Highland White puppy, called Dexter, that we played with. Oh and a laburnum tree next to the dovecote at the bottom.
