A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.
Having spent the morning in search of a new inner tube (none at the first town in the cycle shop that sold mostly washing machines, a traffic jam in Diss that prevented access to the town) we finally got one at Halfords in Thetford. Having replaced the tube we went to Thelnetham to see a windmill and have a ride. Though not before having a nice lunch at the Swan at Coney Weston, and trying an old tequila courtesy of the friendly previousan. The ride was only about an hour and a half and yet seemed packed with incident. Views, quiet lanes, and, to add to our wildlife list of: two hares, one owl, a small deer, and innumerable weasels, we saw a squirrel trying to outrun the bikes.
