Two day's, one night, in Little Langdale
Pippa and I went to the Lakes staying one night and two day's. It was glorious weather and it was a part of the Lakes we didn't know: Little Langdale.
Date of event: 02/09/2007

Day one, Little Langdale
It had been a slow drive over, via Alston, which was a mistake. It's normally a slow road but was even more so in the poor visibility caused by the rain and the journey took us 3 and a half hours.
I think both of us had thought, as we went through Ambleside, that a day browsing the shops might have been a better idea that the walking we had planned.
We eventually, after stopping in the Britannia in Elterwater and the Three Shires in Little Langdale, got underway.

Dressed for it
Those are the Langdale Pikes you can see in the distance over in Great Langdale, over the pass. The little farm we stayed at, Low Foot Farm, was just around the corner and we're just leaving the narrowest road in the lakes to cross over a tiny stone bridge to start our walk.
