Two day's, one night, in Little Langdale

Pippa and I went to the Lakes staying one night and two day's. It was glorious weather and it was a part of the Lakes we didn't know: Little Langdale.

Greenburn Beck
This was the little wooden footbridge over Greenburn Beck. We could have gone this way back to the Three Shires Pub but eschewed more beery beverage and turned to follow the beck back to the farm.

As we head back the clouds look threatening, I hope it turns out nice for tomorrow's walk.

The literature about the Lakes is full of useful information, and of course the rocks above Grasmere on Helm Crag are well known: the Lion and the Lamb, the Howitzer. I've never read though about this feature, clear for all to see, on Betsy Crag. Yes it's the Rabbit.
