Up towards Ryal
Ryal is the high point, in altitude, of the journey and this is the view out over the fields looking south. Click on this thumbnail to see a panorama that gives some idea of the vastness.
Resting
This is the same place as the previous photo, Pips decided to take a couple of me. If you move your mouse over this thumbnail you'll get a rollover image that shows the very quiet road we'd cycled up.
In fact, just as Pips had finished taking this photo a police car rolled by and slowed down, I don't know whether out of respect for the quietness or whether we looked suspicious.
Bingfield
From Ryal we steamed down a very steep hill, I got up to 68km/hr, but then had to pay with a stiff climb up to East Bingfield. This photo is somewhere on the quiet lane between Bingfield East and Bingfield itself.
Looking west
The country'side around here is just lovely as this view hints at.
