Magret and micuit

This was the first course, magret ham, with foie gras micuit, with salad and a very good balsamic dressing.  I just love foie gras be it paté, micuit, or poêlé.

Canard

The main course was duck, two pieces, one magret and the other confit.  The herb leaf you see is actually carrot leaf, it had me puzzled, I'd not come across that before used as a garnish.  Oh, and the bread was gorgeous too, light and fluffy in the centre with a very crispy crust, and very tasty.
