A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.
The hotel, La Cuadra, was fantastic. Very nice rooms, lovely food, extremely friendly people and a pleasant little village. There was a municipal swimming pool but it rained largely for the three day's I was there so I didn't use it.
If you hover over this photo my room, you'll see a blurry photo of a bit of the breakfast buffet table groaning with food. I used to have bread with oil, garlic and tomato (Pa amb tomàquet) with some fuet, ham and blue cheese, followed by fruit then cake and coffee! Included in the price of the room.
This is the view to the left from my bedroom window, click to see a larger picture with the view to the right towards the pyrenees.
If you click to see the larger picture underneath the pine trees you'll see lived two entertaining dogs who were alway's up to something. There was a cat too who used to spend a lot of its day on the chicken wire roof of the aviary, reaching down to try to catch the pigeons who lived there.
