So, it's goodbye to Aigua Blava and to all the people who'd taken such good care of us, many of whom we never got to know their names, or I've since forgotten, Eva and her vivacious companion. Antonio the Major D, Carlos in the bar, Anna the owner and her son, the current manager.
There were finally no more rooms we could move to, they were fully booked so we move to Hotel Mas Ses Vinyes about 10km away, another Gastro place and very nice, but the weather was taking a turn for the worse.
We decided to go to Sant Feliu de Guíxols to look at a bag for Pips, to replace the one that we'd bought but stained her clothes and which we returned. It was interesting following the GPS to the shop, we got no where slowly, down little one-way lanes. Little lanes in a big car 😀
Sant Feliu de Guíxols turned out to be very lovely, I'd been there in the 60s with my parents, but it'd changed considerably since then.

It was a lovely hotel, though they wouldn't allow Sam at first until I sent them his Assistance Dog Credentials. 😎
They had fantastic food, very gourmet, and a superb selection of wines to match with a knowledgable and gracious sommelier ready to advise.
Our room was lovely and our terrace with a view down the valley, with Parafrugell just to the right and the sea beyond.
Why was it, therefore, we were never quite happy there? Perhaps we missed Hotel Aigua Blava, or that there was no place to really walk Sam, or that the weather had cooled and it was rainy at times.
