Here we are, a snap from a video Pippa recorded, as we cross over from France to Spain, just past Le Boulou and crossing at Le Perthus I imagine. We left the motorway, thinking we'd find quieter roads but all we found were slower ones. Still, we were in no hurry.
We were going to head down to Roses, dip our feet in the Med and then have lunch at our favourite restaurant, if they'd let us in with Sam that is. But they did. Oh, our favourite restaurant is Roses is Rocfort, 8 Ronda Miquel Oliva Prat.
They do the most wonderful seafood. It's not a posh place but the food is excellent and they've been really nice to me over the years, letting me order something for 2 and then keeping the leftovers until the next day for instance!

Wow, Pippa had been waiting for a swimming pool. There was an indoor one in Armes de Champagne on our first day in France, but this is the first outdoor one. It's a bit fresh it has to be said but that didn't stop us, and Pippa particularly, enjoying it.
I looks like Pippa is dancing with joy.
