It took us an age to find this place and the countryside around it wasn't the most promising, there seemed to be lots of factories, chimneys with steam coming out that Pippa was worried would be toxic and then, as we got closer Google and our in-car GPS didn't have a clue and they both took us down some incredible narrow paths that we had to carefully reverse out of (thank goodness for rear-view cameras). In the end we found it. The picture shows what was waiting for us.
In case you're interested, because the hotel was very accomodating and the food noteworthy Mas Passamaner is to the north west of Tarragona and to the west north west of Reus, off the C-422 from Tarragona to La Selva del Camp
It might well have been 10 years since I last saw Pete & María Jesús, Pete's one of my oldest friends from times lost in the mists of time - over 50 years ago I imagine.
