We've been incredibly lucky over the years with our Channel crossings, today, like every other time, was sunny and calm. Since we're travelling with Sam we'd booked into the Dog Lounge, which doesn't sound too hot, but it is. For something like £25 extra we get priority boarding, we get a relatively quiet lounge with little cubicles so dogs don't get too excited and we also get access to a dog deck, so Sam can go outside and enjoy the sea air.
So, "au revoir a la belle France" and it's "hello Blighty"
We got up early, or earlyish, to walk Sam. The area where Stefan lives is lovely, it has a few very lovely houses and lots of well tended, well stocked gardens. There are a lot of green areas too, like this small park in Prittlewell Square.
