A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.

We decided to do a bit of exploring of the little hamlet where our hotel, Cerro La Nina, was. It was a lovely warm day but not too hot, perfect for walking with Sam.
We ambled down little grass paths and then around Beceña. We ended up chatting to a few people, the first was a lady doing her garden, originally from Andalucia though her husband, if I remember correctly is from Madrid. She was very friendly, and loved the village.
The next person we met was doing some gardening too, in a bigger house on a hill, it was Sam who first introduced us, so to speak, he was saying hello to the fellow's dog, a giant Schnauzer, a black one, who Sam shouted "hello" to from the gate.

It was a slightly cloudy day, perfect for going to visit the coast, specifically to Ribadesella, a place I'd been to many years ago to visit an old friends brother, but which I didn't remember at all. It's a very interesting town, a winding estuary with hills around it, beautiful buildings in parts and great seafood. This is where we ate, a place called:- El Campanu.
